Dogs

Dogs are the second most-owned pet in the United States! I have two dogs, and once one of them got hold of a candy wrapper. It was around 10:12 when I woke up to the sound of crunching. As I tried to take it away, he growled. I backed off because I didn’t want to wake up my sisters, but the dog kept eating the wrapper. You can’t imagine how annoying that sound was!

The three dogs I’ve had are named Bubba (the one who ate the wrapper), Tcoda, and Ari. I have no idea why they were given those names.

Bubba has passed away :(

The Amazing Nose of a Dog

Dogs possess an extraordinary sense of smell, one of their most impressive and well-developed abilities. Their olfactory system is incredibly sophisticated, with up to 300 million receptors compared to about 6 million in humans. This heightened sense makes dogs exceptionally skilled at detecting explosives, illegal drugs, and even locating missing or deceased individuals. Specially trained dogs are often employed by law enforcement and military units to sniff out bombs and narcotics, detecting even trace amounts that humans would never notice.
